Hey Y’all, Happy Hump Day!

Spring is an interesting time in the fashion world. Life in general is really inspiring because the weather is picking up, and things are just a bit more cheerful!  So I decided to show case a few items and show you guys how I’m preparing for spring on A budget LOL!  Honestly I know how expensive gel nails are so decided to post DIY manicure to show you how to save dollars and to give you the facts on UV lamps!  So gel nails cost around $35 and I only spent like $20 on DIY nails.  The nail polish cost me $12 (on sale at Walmart), brown sugar $2, honey $4 and the lemons cost me $2.  So $20 will cover me all spring. AND yes the brown sugar and honey will last for another 4-6 applications.  I’m so excited, I love winning, YAY!

If you follow my instastories on Instagram you may have already seen how easy it is to do your own manicure.  I love saving, so this is a must for me this spring.  Plus honestly I’m not sure how healthy those UV lamps or sometimes called LED lamps are.  In your spare time you can read up on this information for youself and decide how you feel about it, but the nurse in me wont allow me not the share the warnings about UV lamps. So if you can’t give up your gel nails completely maybe consider not as often.  “The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends applying a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to hands 20 minutes prior to UV light exposure.

If getting a regular manicure, the safest bet is to allow nails to air-dry naturally, avoiding the drying lamps altogether.  Remember, all nail lamps produce UV radiation”.  After researching this, I will probably cut back to a few times a year and just do my own nails (we will see LOL).  Totally love me some gel nails but the DIY is affordable and safer.

DIY manicure: add brown sugar, 1/2 lemon, and honey to make your scrub! Now rub the scrub on your hands in a circular motion for two minutes or so.  For extra  exfoliating and moisture add Saran Wrap to your hands for an extra 5 mins and bam you’re done! Prefect hands and nails!

Here are a few of my picks for the spring. Details: Handbag//hat//sallyhansen//tights//freepeople jeans

Hey Y’all it’s Wednesday already 😁 yay we gon  make it!  I’m exhausted and so ready for the weekend!

So let’s jump right into the topic at hand…..this outfit 👀!   We all love a classic look, but basic outfits can be, well, basic.  One way to switch up your everyday ensemble is to experiment with print mixing.  It might be out of your comfort zone, but there is one mixed-print combo in particular that you really shouldn’t be afraid to try: florals with stripes. These two prints look so good together, they’re basically complementary.  Now, me being me, I decided to add a lil EXTRA touch, the fur lunchbox handbag and these feather tassel earrings creating the perfect lil pop!

Still not quite sure how to pull this off?  Message me I’ll help! Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to be nice and kind to others!

First things first, we need to talk about this top I have on and how it is the most amazing, flattering high quality top to every hit my body LOL….and It is on sale!!!  AND you need to snag it like right now because it’s sure to go out of stock soon.  It is absolutely stunnning and the back detail is absolutely beautiful with a cute little button at the neckline and I love the details on the sleeves, and oh just all of it.  This top is honestly worth the regular price and can so easily be dressed up and down.

Hey Y’all!

It’s Wednesday and I’m still smiling!  We’ve had some pretty rough weather over the last past couple of days so I’ve been hibernating and gearing up for my next post.  Today I’m sharing LOOK 2 of the sweatshirt/jogger look but first let’s discuss the importance of smiling.  I really like a more serious look most of the time for my blog pictures but there’s something about smiling that changes your mood.

Everyone loves the quote “laughter is the best medicine,” and as a nurse, I have experienced the benefits of smiling and laughter with my patients.  In fact did you guys know that smiling can boost your mood and even your immune system?  Studies have also revealed that your body is more relaxed when you smile?  Yes I’m a believer that smiles are contagious, try it and see.

Smiles make a person more attractive, sociable and confident!  I’ve done the research and researcher identified 19 types of smiles and put them into two categories: polite “social” smiles which engage fewer muscles (for those that are worried about wrinkles), and sincere “felt” smiles that use more muscles on both sides of the face. So there you have it, your free smile more lesson of the day.  I want to see your smile post so tag me on it, meanwhile take a look at how I bossed up Look 2 with a smile!  I love hearing from you guys so please drop me a comment letting me know your thoughts.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you guys enjoyed Look 2.

Happy Monday!

I hope you guys are enjoying your day off for those of us that are off today!  This post is for all of my busy moms and women who just like keeping things simple.  One of the ultimate goals for most women is having plenty of outfits that easily transition from one event to the next, eliminating the need for a separate wardrobe for work, going out, and weekends. Thanks to all the new trends of combining complementary casual and dressier pieces, it’s possible to achieve that kind of versatility without overspending!

So why are so many women not dressing up anymore?  Why are so many of women not wearing heels anymore?  I am all for comfort so I wanted to do a post to show all the busy moms/women how to select the right sweatshirt and joggers to create the perfect casual look.  Who said married women and moms can’t be casual and sexy all at the same time!  By simply adding a pair of heels to a very casual outfit you can conquer the world BABY, LOL!  I personally think that heels drive men crazy, set there lil hearts on fire.  Too much, yes I know LOL, but seriously I think that some women have the tendency to get way to relaxed in life and don’t have the desire to look sexy anymore.

So with that being said let’s jump right into what I’m wearing!  This adorable sweatshirt from Express is the perfect piece to add to your closet.  This lightweight, satin shiny sweatshirt is giving me life right now . I’m totally obsessed with this shirt especially the sleeves!  You can easily gloss up your jeans, shorts or skirts with this perfect sweatshirt.  I decided to pair this look with a pair of joggers from Versona, old heels from Jessica Simpson Collection and whoa you’re done!  Easy as pie!   I love hearing from you guys so drop me a comment letting me know your thoughts.   Well guys, I hope you enjoyed my look!  See you guys next week.

So unprepared! This photographer of mine is so lit, I love her she’s free!

Hey Y’all!

I’m back with another blog post! I’m trying to post more this year and provide more usable content, so with that being said let’s jump right into how to wear winter white!  How many of us are afraid to wear white? I agree wearing all white can be a little fearful considering all white makes you look a little heavier and who in the heck wants that LOL!  So here’s the key!  Layer your LOOK and keep your clothes fitted! The  slouchy, baggy, oversized look is not ideal when wearing all white!  Pair white items with garments of other colors like I did!  Add a soft colorful scarf or hat so viewers will key in on your entire outfit!  Now you size two women 🙄🙄🙄 could definitely pull off a solid all white outfit!  Keep in mind what fabric to wear depending on the season.  You would never wear white wool pants in the summer but of course you would wear them in the winter.  Here are a few other tips:

  1. White sweater with a great pair of jeans and boots you’ll brighten up the entire room!
  2. Try a white coat! A white coat is the perfect winter white accent! It’s unexpected and yet refreshing and cheerful!
  3. My favorite is the white handbag! This will act as a neutral and will match everything!

Hope you guys enjoyed my look and my winter white tips! Thank you so much for stopping by and please drop me a comment or two letting me know your thoughts! I love hearing from my followers!  Stay sweet and remember to be kind to others!

xoxo Stace

Hello Loves,

I’m a busy mom of three beautiful girls and whenever I can look cute and comfy I’m all in!     So let’s jump right into what I’m wearing!  I’m wearing the cotton logo leggings and the matching cropped long sleeve sweatshirt from Victory Secret Pink collection.  Really I could close my eyes and pick from their collection without any worries of it not being cute! Their entire collection is so bomb! My hat and scarf was gifted from my Mother-In-Law.  I thought adding a bright mustard color would spice this look up a bit.  If you’ve been following me you know how I feel about Gianni Bini shoes!  Click here to see my kicks.  Hope you guys enjoyed my look!  I appreciate all comments so please feel free to drop me a line or two!  Also please remember to take time out to pray and be kind to others!

Hey Guys,

YAY it’s Friday and I’m so ready for the weekend! Since it’s so cold I thought this would be the perfect time to show my followers how to keep warm without losing any fashion points!  Who said you can’t be cute and warm at the same time?  Well I did just that! I found this amazing coat at Express and I love it!  Providing both style and incredible warmth it’s well worth your money!   I got it on sale for $30 best deal of the season, especially since it’s still winter!  I don’t really wear a lot of pink but I’m loving this vintage pink!  It’s so neutral with a little splash of color!  I topped this look off with the cutest little pom beanie ($10) also from Express, a pair of Express skinny jeans and my year round Frye boots! Hope you guys enjoyed my look! Thank you so much for stopping by!  I would love to hear from you!  Drop me a comment or two letting me know your thoughts!  Please don’t forget to be kind and helpful to others!

Hey Loves,

I’ll admit that the look of the sequin legging trend kinda snuck up on me just like Christmas did, LOL.  A couple of weeks ago I saw someone wearing a pair of sequin leggings and I love the look.  You can dress them up, dress them down, and really you can do no wrong since overall sequin is so hot these days so why not wear them in the form of a legging.  Personally I think this look is best worn paired with a plain oversize tee in order to create more drama on your bottom half but I was headed out to a Christmas party and wanted to be a little more sassy LOL.  I love the simplicity of this outfit especially how I matched my clutch and top.  My lipstick and nails added the perfect pop of color.  Drop me a comment or two letting me know your thoughts.  Thanks for stopping by and oh don’t forget to be kind and helpful to others!
